From strangers to being friends on the other side of the world
Our first meeting took place in Croatia during The Yacht Week. Elliott was planning to propose to Kylie at an amazing view point on top of the mountain on the island Bol. Their group had planned to go ATV riding through the mountainside, with incredible scenery during the ride itself. That was the first day of the week, and we partied and got to know each other better throughout the rest of the week!
We stayed in touch after and I got reunited with them again a year later after our first meeting. I always aim to be more than just “the photographer” for all my weddings, and during my stay, I was able to do exactly that — they welcomed me as one of their own by entrusting me to babysit their kitten JJ and their home. Whilst the gents went skydiving, the ladies went to drive UTV’s around the world famous Kualoa Ranch park! My gear got quite dirty, so I would say that counts as a mission successful haha.
