Thank you for being here and considering me to document this precious moment in your life. Captured with Passion started as a wild dream and has grown into a truly magical small business. I absolutely love being an elopement and wedding photographer because I enjoy bringing joy into people's lives, and for me, there is no better way than to create photographic art that not only tells a story but also preserves it for your future generations.

Yes, that’s me – pleased to meet you, Tâm Koppelaar! Personally, I believe that the chemistry between a photographer and the subjects is the most important thing. You may have already read that from the texts on the other pages. From my own experience, I know that with a good connection, even better photos can be created and more beautiful memories can be made.
I am an ambitious and passionate person, practical rather than theoretical, but oddly enough, I still have a BTEC-IBS diploma haha. While I’m at it, a little more about myself: I am musical, sporty, love food, and oh yes, I'm great with kids, always useful!
Since June 2020, I held a real camera in my hands for the very first time. I bought it because I needed photography for my two other businesses at the time. I started experimenting with photography on my sister's old phone when I was 14 years old, and occasionally during vacations.
In the summer of 2021, I went to Spain, France, and Sweden for some cool projects, as shown above. Since then, I have been working full-time as an all-round and wedding photographer. Check out my other website, www.tamshots.com, for an impression of my general work and passion projects.
What really makes my soul happy and where I can completely relax is by admiring nature, discovering new places, gaining experiences, and meeting people — in other words, wanderlust.
But you may have already noticed this in the way I capture photos and where I do it. My style depends on the desired choice, usually warm and moody, but also atmospheric and airy.
Photographing weddings is amazing, not only do you look back on beautiful memories, but I do too. For me, it's about the memories, capturing those unique photos that take you back to the moment of then.
